Designed with and for World Freestyle Slalom Champion Igor Cheremetieff, the FR Skates Igor Pro Skates are the leading boot for slalom and freestyle.
The skate comes standard with a semi-soft Carbon Fibre shell matched with a Carbon Fibre cuff. The carbon fibre delivers absolute precision, responsitivity and durability, making the Igor a fair choice for freestyle skaters competing at the top level.
Anatomical padding on the inside provides a comfortable fit that adapts to the foot. The recessed heel keeps the foot locked in place, reducing movement inside the boot.
The skate has a 4 point closure system. Full length from toe to shin lace eyelets, a toe strap, mid-strap and cuff strap giving you an exceptionally secure fit with great support.
Attached underneath are the aluminium matt black FR Skates 4D Rockered frames. The 2mm (banana) rocker is built into the frame and holds the key to performing slalom tricks and manoeuvres. As such, the Igor's best use is on flat and smooth surfaces (for freestyle, artistic and slalom styles of skating) and not for general use (like commuting or casual skates at the park).
8 x MPC Freestyle 80mm/XFirm wheels with ILQ 9 Slalom Pro Twincam bearings provide elite balance, grip and control. No colour pigments in the urethane increase performance.
Serious attention to detail means users can focus on developing skills without worrying about the technology on their feet.
Rockering
Please note these skates come pre-rockered (i.e. the outer two wheels sit 2mm off the ground). To ride flat, switch the inner wheels to 76mm wheels (or 72mm for EU40 and below).
